Description: Perfect for adventure lovers who have no fear of heights, this trail descends through Wadi Dathneh, past an oasis, and through Wadi al Hamra to the Feynan area.
Wadi Ghwair Trail

Time: 7-8 hours

Requirements: Transportation to and from Al Mansoura near Shoubak area; no fear of heights
Description: Continue along the gravel river bed of the Wadi, alongside a flowing stream, to the entrance to Wadi Ghweir. Very similar to the famous Siq in Petra, the trail leads through magnificent sceneries of different stone formations and many unique plants and trees on both sides of the river. The scenery is so breathtaking it has been known to cause visitors to forget about everything else -- including how long they have been hiking! After 3.5 hours, you will have tea and you can rest and learn more about the area from your guide. From there, continue to the Byzantine archaeology at Khirbet Feynan until you reach your final destination at Feynan Ecolodge.
Ajloun Hiking Trails
Ajloun Castle Trail

Description: Once you have reached Mar Elias, you have the option of continuing on this challenging trail, which takes you by small farm houses and their adjacent orchards on your way to Ajloun Castle, built between AD 1184-1188 by Salahadin's nephew. In the first section of the trail you can enjoy views of the West Bank and Syria, before you descend into a wooded valley. The final difficult uphill is rewarded by the incredible Castle and the marvelous views that accompany it. The hike also includes a locally prepared picnic lunch.

الوصف :
تمتع بمجرى النهر المليء بالحصى في قاع الوادي و بجانب الشلالات المنسابة وصوت خرير المياه الذي يبعث الراحة في النفس وصولا إلى مدخل وادي غوير والذي يشبه ممر السيق في البتراء. هذا الممر مليء بالمناظر الخلابة والمختلفة من تشكيلات حجرية والعديد من النباتات والأشجار الفريدة على كلتا ضفتين النهر. هذه المشاهد التي تذهل الزوار وتجعلهم ينسون المدة التي استغرقوها بالمشي للوصول إليه! عند الوصول، يمكنك أن تنعم بالراحة وتناول كأس شاي بينما يحدثك الدليل المرافق عن المنطقة أكثر. و من هناك تستمر بالسير حتى تصل إلى الآثار البيزنطية في خربة فينان ومن ثم إلى وجهتك الأخيرة.
يٌغلق هذا الطريق في حال هطول الأمطار من الجبال المجاورة بسبب احتمالية حدوث فيضانات.

عند وصولك مار الياس، لديك خيار الاستمرار على طريق مليء بالتحدي، والذي سيأخذك يبدأ من بيت المزارع الصغير والبساتين المجاورة لها في الطريق إلى قلعة عجلون، والتي بنيت بين 1184 م - 1188 من قبل ابن أخ صلاح الدين، ففي القسم الأول من الممر يمكنك التمتع بمناظر من الضفة الغربية وسوريا، قبل أن تنحدر إلى واد مشجر. الطريق شاقة وصعبة ولكن منظر القلعة عند رؤيتها لن يصدق. ويتخلل هذه الجولة، استراحة غداء أعدت في احدى بيوت المجتمع المحلي.

Shaumari Wildlife Reserve was established in 1975 by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature as a breeding center for endangered or locally extinct wildlife. Today, following breeding programs with some of the world's leading wildlife parks and zoos, this small, 22-square-kilometre reserve is a thriving protected environment for some of the most rare species of animals in the Middle East. Oryx, ostriches, Onagers (an Asian wild ass) and gazelles, which are depicted on many local 6th century Byzantine mosaics, are rebuilding their populations and reasserting their presence in this safe haven, protected from hunting and habitat destruction that nearly wiped them out.
The Oryx and Onagers can often be seen roaming freely in their large desert grassland enclosure, and gazelles can be observed in their own fenced areas. Shaumari's breeding enclosures provide a small "zoo" for visitors, making the reserve a popular spot for children and school outings.
Visitor Center
Shaumari Wildlife Reserve is a great place to learn about desert habitats. The visitor center has been set up to provide visitors with information about wildlife, nature and experience live observation of wildlife in the reserve.
Here you can observe the Arabian Oryx, Houbara bustards, Reem Gazelles and Persian Wild Onagers in fenced enclosures, as well as a variety of wild plants and geographic systems native to the region.
The site also offers a cafeteria, kid’s area, picnic and barbeque area, and a bird watching tower.
The Arabian Oryx Story
The Arabian Oryx, an elegant white antelope, is one of the few mammals indigenous to the Arabian Peninsula. It became extinct in Jordan around the 1920s, because of the increased hunting for its meat, coat and horns. The increasing range and power of rifles compounded by the factor of motorized vehicles were the key to the extinction of the Oryx. The last known wild Arabian Oryx in the world was killed by hunters in Oman in 1972.
Fortunately, previous to this incident, in 1962, the Flora and Fauna Preservation Society and the World Wildlife Fund had launched an international rescue effort known as Operation Oryx. A world survival herd was established in the USA, with three animals from Oman, one from the London zoo, one from Kuwait, and four from Saudi Arabia. This herd increased steadily in numbers, and the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature proposed that the Arabian Oryx should be reintroduced into its native habitat in the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula.
In 1978, eleven Arabian Oryx were relocated in Shaumari. The number of Oryx has now increased to a phenomenal two hundred! Operation Oryx has been so successful that Jordan now supplies Oryx to other countries, which are conducting reintroduction programs
أسست الجمعية الملكية لحماية الطبيعة محمية الشومري في عام 1975، كمركز لإعادة توطين الأحياء البرية المهددة بالانقراض أو التي انقرضت محليا.
حاليا، وبعد برامج التوطين مع بعض من أبرز محميات الأحياء البرية في العالم وحدائق الحيوان، أصبحت هذه المحمية الصغيرة والتي تبلغ مساحتها 22 كم2 بيئة آمنة مزدهرة ببعض من أكثر الحيوانات ندرة في الشرق الأوسط.
تحوي المحمية كل من حيوانات المها العربي والنعام والحمر البرية (الحمار البري الفارسي) والغزلان، والتي تم وصفها على العديد من اللوحات الفسيفسائية المحلية من القرن السادس البيزنطي. و في المحمية يتم إعادة اعمار نسلهم والحفاظ على وجودهم من خلال هاذا الملاذ الآمن عن طريق حمايتهم من الصيد الجائر والعوامل التي تدمر بيئتهم والتي كادت أن تقضي علهم تقريبا.
غالبا، يمكنك رؤية المها والحمر البرية تتجول بحرية في مراعيها الخضراء الواسعة، ويمكن أيضا رؤية الغزلان في حظائر مخصصة لها.
قصة المها العربي
المها العربي، او الظبي الأبيض الأنيق، هي واحدة من عدد قليل من الثدييات الأصيلة في شبه الجزيرة العربية والتي انقرضت في الأردن منذ العام 1920 تقريبا، نتيجة عمليات صيدها المتزايدة بغية الحصول على لحمها وفرائها وقرونها.
إن زيادة قوة وفاعلية بنادق الصيد مصحوبة بتطور المركبات الآلية تعد المفتاح لانقراض المها. فقد قتل آخر مها عربي معروف بالعالم من قبل صيادين في عمان عام 1972.
لكن لحسن الحظ، وقبل هذه الحادثة، كانت جمعية المحافظة على النباتات والحيوانات والصندوق العالمي للطبيعة عام 1962 قد بدأتا محاولة الإنقاذ الدولية المعروفة باسم عملية المها. أنشئ قطيع البقاء في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، من ثلاثة حيوانات من عمان، وواحدة من حديقة الحيوان في لندن، واحدة من الكويت، وأربعة من السعودية، وازداد عدد حيوانات المها في هاذا القطيع بشكل ملحوظ، وبعدها اقترحت الجمعية الملكية لحماية الطبيعة وجوب عودة القطيع إلى موطنه الأصلي في صحراء شبه الجزيرة العربية.
في عام 1978، تم نقل أحد عشر رأسا من المها العربي الى محمية الشومري، وقد ارتفع عددها الآن الى قرابة المئتين! عملية المها كانت ناجحة جدا لدرجة أن الأردن أصبحت الآن تزوّد المها لبلدان أخرى، والتي تقوم بدورها بتنفيذ برامج اعادة التوطين.

The circular trail starts off at the Visitor Center then passes by the picnic and children play areas. As you reach the Wadi’s entrance gate, RSCN’s tour guide will take a few minutes to introduce you to the reserve and what to expect along the trail.
As you enter, you will be taken by the beauty of the distinctive desert scenery and biodiversity. Shaumari is home to more than 190 registered species of plants. Hence, the route is filled with flora that makes a tapestry of colors and textures. Perennial or annual, some of these plants are plantago, peganum harmala, artemisia, achillea and tamarix, retama and hordeum, while many are ideal for grazing and/or human consumption like chubaisa mauve, mountain spinach (atriplex hortensi), and ferula.
By the time, you get to the fenced enclosure, the first thing that will grab your attention is how mesmerizing are the long antlers of the White Arabian Oryx! Further down in your trail you will begin to notice small birds chirping. After a brief stop at the Rehabilitation Unit for Confiscating Animals, your journey ends where you’ve started it; at the Visitor Center.

يبدأ المسير داخل وادي الشومري حيث يوفر مناظر طبيعية وخلابة للمحمية، يمتاز ممر وادي الشومري بالتنوع الحيوي الفريد، حيث يقودك الممر عبر العديد من أنواع النباتات منها الموسمية مثل: الشعير البري، الخبيزة، لسان الحمل، الكلخ، الحرمل، وبعض النباتات المعمرة مثل: القطف، الشيح، قيصوم، شجر الإثل، الرتم.
يقودك الممر وصولا الى مسيج العناية بالمها العربي والمشي بمحاذاة المسيج لحد الوصول الى البركة الصناعية والتي تتيح للزائر فرصة مشاهده المها العربي وبعض الطيور المغردة، وبعد مواصلة المسير يتم المرور بوحدة العناية بالطيور المصادرة الى أن ينتهي الممر رجوعا الى مركز زوار محمية الشومري للأحياء البرية.

Azraq is a unique wetland, located in the heart of the arid Eastern Desert, which takes its name from the Arabic word for ‘blue’. A migratory stopover for birds from three continents, Azraq is becoming increasingly popular for bird watching. From the walkways and hides, visitors get the chance to observe birds close at hand, including local, migratory and occasional rare species.
The Azraq area also has a rich cultural history due to its strategic location and water resources. It was used as a station for pilgrims and camel trains and Lawrence of Arabia was stationed in Azraq Castle during the Arab Revolt. The local people are also unusually diverse, coming from three different ethnic origins, Bedouin, Chechen and Druze; each of which has distinctive beliefs and traditions. Bedouins have lived a nomadic life style in the area for generations, whereas the Chechens are descendants of settlers from the Caucasus and the Druze stem from Arab tribes in Syria and Lebanon.
Many interesting archaeological sites lie within easy reach of Azraq Lodge, including the famous but misnamed ‘desert castles’: Qasr Amra, Qasr Kharana and Azraq Castle. Qasr Amra is one of the best-preserved Umayyad bathhouses in the world and a World Heritage Site. Its interior walls are covered in lively frescos dating back to 700 AD. There are also many dramatic desert landscapes to discover, including moon-like plains of black basalt and white valleys of chalk.

وتعتبر منطقة الأزرق ذات تاريخ ثقافي غني نظرًا لموقعها الاستراتيجي والموارد المائية فيها. فلقد اشتهرت بأنها محطة للحجاج و قوافل الجمال، ورابط لورنس العرب في قلعتها خلال الثورة العربية. أما بالنسبة للسكان المحليين في الأزرق، فمجتمع الأزرق مكون من ثلاثة أصول عرقية مختلفة هي: البدو والشيشان والدروز، ولكل واحد منها معتقدات وتقاليد مختلفة عن الأخرى.
و تضم الأزرق العديد من المواقع الأثرية الهامة والتي من السهل الوصول إليها بما في ذلك "القلاع الصحراوية الشهيرة": قصير عمرة، قصر الخرانة وقلعة الأزرق. فيعد قصير عمرة واحدا من أهم المواقع الأثرية الأموية الصامدة إلى الآن وأحد مواقع الإرث العالمي. وتغطي جدرانه الداخلية العديد من الرسوم الجدارية الحية التي يعود تاريخها إلى 700 قبل الميلاد.

Azraq Lodge
A converted 1940’s British military field hospital, located at the edge of the Eastern Desert, only a short distance from the Azraq and Shaumari nature reserves. It has an authentic period atmosphere, combined with a modern twist, and provides comfortable and characterful accommodation from which to explore the Eastern Desert.
There are 16 fully equipped 1940's style rooms, air-conditioned with private bathrooms and terraces, overlooking Azraq Village and sand flats of the Azraq Basin. The rooms can accommodate up to 60 people at full capacity. All the staff members are from local Bedouin, Chechen, and Druze communities and the kitchen and restaurant are under the management of a local family, who provide home-cooked Chechen food. The Lodge is open all year.

يقع نزل الأزرق بالقرب من محمية الأزرق المائية وعلى بعد مسافة قصيرة من محمية الشومري ومطلاً على قاع الأزرق. لقد كان النزل قديما مستشفى ميداني قديم بناه الانجليز في الأربعينيات من القرن الماضي، وقامت الجمعية الملكية لحماية الطبيعة باستحداثه ليصبح نزلا يضم 16 غرفة. ويعد النزل نقطة الإنطلاق لزيارة المحمية المائية ومناطق الجذب السياحي الأخرى في الصحراء الشرقية.
تعد الإقامة في نزل الأزرق تجربة فريدة، حيث يتكون النزل من 16 غرفة مجهزة بالكامل، كل غرفة تحتوي على نظام خاص لتكييف الهواء، حمام خاص وشرفة تتميز بإطلالة جميلة على قرية الأزرق وعلى قاع الأزرق.

Description: This easy walking trail gives you an excellent introduction to the Azraq Wetland Reserve. The boardwalk leads you through dry and wet areas to a viewing platform overlooking the artesian pools that once released millions of cubic meters of water into the marshland. After leaving the platform, the trail takes you over an ancient black basalt wall, most likely constructed by an Umayyad Caliph. The trail then leads to a bird hide made of local mud brick where you can observe the migratory birds and perhaps catch a glimpse of the water buffalo. Follow the trail back to the Visitor Center, passing yet another part of the ancient basalt wall.

Description: This Circular trail starts at Azraq Wetland Reserve visitor center, with an excellent introduction to the Reserve passing by dry and wet areas to a viewing platform overlooking the artesian pools that once released millions of cubic meters of water into the marshland. Follow the trail forward to new wooden bird hides, passing yet another new water bodies to explore more habitats in the reserve and observe migratory bird species and catch a glimpse of the water buffalo. Then Follow the trail back to the Visitor Center, passing by the largest water body in the reserve.

Description: This is an easy way to explore the desert castles around the Azraq Reserve. From the Azraq Lodge, our shuttle bus will take you to the nearby Azraq Castle, which was used as a military base by T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) during the Arab Revolt. Next, travel to the Old Druze village and learn more about the first Druze settlement in the area. From here, the tour continues on foot, hiking 2 kilometers to Aines-Sil, a farmhouse built by the Umayyad. The bus will be waiting to take you to a local Druze home for tea and a light traditional meal before returning to the Lodge.

Description: From the Azraq Lodge, our shuttle bus will take you to a desert entrance to begin your hike to Wadi Usaykhim, where you will view inscriptions written by humans thousands of years ago. Continue hiking two kilometers to the top of the highest mountain, where the Usakhim fortress stands, marking the eastern-most point of the ancient Roman Empire. Here, the shuttle bus will wait to take you to a local home for tea and a light traditional meal before returning to the Lodge.

تعد الوسيلة الأسهل لاستكشاف القلاع الصحراوية حول محمية الأزرق. تأخذك الحافلة من نزُل الأزرق إلى قلعة الأزرق المجاورة، والتي كانت تستخدم كقاعدة عسكرية من قبل "لورانس العرب" أثناء الثورة العربية الكبرى. بعد ذلك، ستمر الحافلة بقرية الدروز القديمة ولتعرف المزيد عن أول من سكن المنطقة من الدروز. من هنا، تستمر الجولة سيرًا على الأقدام لمسافة 2 كيلو متر إلى عين السيل وهو بيت ريفي بناه الأمويين. وستكون الحافلة في انتظارك لتأخذك إلى البيت المحلي للدروز لتناول الشاي ووجبة تقليدية خفيفة قبل العودة إلى النزل.

ستأخك الحافلة من نزل الأزرق إلى مدخل الصحراء لبدء جولتك سيراً على الأقدام حتى وادي أسيخم، وهناك سترى نقوشاً حفرها البشر منذ آلاف السنين. وبعدها ستواصل السير كيلومترين إلى قمة أعلى جبل، حيث تقع قلعة أسيخم في أقصى نقطة للجهة الشرقية للإمبراطورية الرومانية القديمة. وستكون الحافلة بانتظارك كي تأخذك إلى بيت عائلة درزية لتتناول الشاي ووجبة تقليدية خفيفة قبل أن تعود إلى نزل الأزرق.

بعد مغادرة المنصة يأخذك الممر إلى جدار بازلتي أسود قديم تم بناؤه في زمن أحد الخلفاء الأمويّين. بعدها سيقودك الممر إلى مبنى مراقية الطيور المصنوع من الطين والتبن المحلي حيث تستطيع مشاهدة الطيور المهاجرة وبعض من الجواميس المائية.

Oryx Safari Trail brings you close to one of the region’s most magnificent (and endangered) wild animals: the Arabian Oryx. This large white antelope, with its long, pointed horns, is an icon of Arabia and is thought to be the origin of the mythical unicorn. While touring Shaumari, you may also see the Persian Onager, another critically endangered species breeding successfully in the reserve. While we cannot guarantee that you will see any big animals on your trip, you will experience the special character of the Eastern Desert, with its surprising variety of vegetation and subtle colors.
Shaumari lies on a major global migratory route between Europe, Asia and Africa and is a hot spot for bird activity, where many birds stop during migration seasons to rest, eat and mate. In the safari vehicle, you will find binoculars to help you get a good look at a variety of birds. Notable sightings could include the Imperial Eagle (Aquila heliacal), the Pallid Harrier (Circus macrourus), and the Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus).
Oryx Safari offers a unique “track and sign” experience that helps visitors build connections between different aspects of the natural environment and the organisms living in it. During your tour, you will learn the basic principles of animal tracking and practice reading tracks. What is RVMT?
The Rift Valley Mountain Trek is the first long-distance discovery hiking route in Jordan, linking Dana Biosphere Reserve and Feynan lodge with Petra trough the Shobak heights. Extending approximately 100km from Dana old village to little Petra, the altitude varies from one section to another, starting from 1,300m to 320m above sea level and reaching again to 1665 m above sea level at the half way point. While crossing mountains and plateaus, visitors can explore the magnificent landscape with its breath-taking geological forms and enjoying the awe-inspiring Rift Valley viewpoints. Interacting with the local population during this spectacular crossing, visitors have the phenomenal experience of camping in real goat hair Bedouin tents.

Starting from the luscious highlands before winding through the rocky slopes and plains, the serenity is interrupted only by the sound of birdsong, as the scents of flowers permeate the crisp, cool air of the valley. After your 14km hike through this unique landscape, you will relax and spend the night at the dreamy, candle-lit Eco-lodge.
Section 2: Feynan - Wadi Ghweer - Al Bustan area(Wadi Al Nakheel Trail)

This trail offers an aquatic hike through small pools of water,especially refreshing during spring time. With different stone formations, this trail is reminiscent of the famous Siq of Petra “Petra canyon”. After 3 - 4 hours, you will take a relaxing tea break,whilst learning more about the spectacular surroundings from your local guide. Upon reaching the green valleys of Albustaan, you will meet your Bedouin hosts and sleep in a Bedouin tent.
Section 3: Al Bustan area - Shaubak Castle (Al Qala’a Trail)

Leaving Al Bustaan behind you will see more of the stunning geology of this region. The trail will lead you from out of the mountain wilderness and into the countryside, where you will be welcomed into old but still inhabited villages dotted around the foot of the mountain range. In this beautiful green space of terraced orchards, you will see a variety of trees native to Jordan, including pistachio, fig and "Roman" olive trees. The narrow gorge leads the way to Shobak caste, the historical path lined with ancient caves once used as tombs.
Section 4: Shaubak Castle - Ras Al Faid area (Al Matal Trail)

This easier hike starts from the old village of Sihan, which was inhabited by Shobaki locals up until the nineteenth century. Only ruins of the old stone houses now stand witness to a once lively community in Sihan. A high viewpoint is easily reached, rewarding you with magnificent views of Shobak’s proposed protected area. Following the Al Hazeem road you reach the Ras Al Faid area, where you spend your
last night in Shobak before heading towards little Petra.
Section 5: Al Forn area - Gbour Al Whaidat area (Al Whaidat Trail)

Waking up to panoramic views, you will see mushroom shaped rock formations and juniper trees cover the landscape. For two hours the trail snakes up to the peak of Al Saffaha - the perfect spot for a tea break or picnic. Finishing the trail in Gbour Al Whaidat, you will meet again with your Bedouin hosts.

Several hours of moderate hiking will take you to your next destination of Petra, via Al Farsh (the flat region), which lies west of this area. Be prepared to be astounded by splendid views of Wadi Araba, particularly the flat desert in the heart of the Rift Valley. Wonderment and surprise are the usual reactions upon seeing for the first time the extraordinary colors of the Nabataean capital, Petra; the ancient city of carved and decorated facades. The unique tombs and treasures encloses its visitors into an ancient world, providing a silent narration of the story of its powerful Nabataean past. This story then takes us to Little Petra, the agricultural center famous throughout history as a trading suburb. At the end of this unforgettable day, you will spend the night in a Bedouin camp or hotel.

مغادرا من البستان يذهل الزائر أكثر فأكثر بجيولوجيا المنطقة، يعتبر هذا الممر الرابط بين المناطق البرية الجبلية وريف الشوبك حيث القرى القديمة التي لا تزال مأهولة والمحاطة بسفوح الجبال.
في هذه المنطقة الخضراء المليئة بالمصاطب نجد تنوعا في الأشجار المتأصلة في الأردن ومنها أشجار البطم و التين والزيتون الروماني القديم .
يقود السيق الضيق الى قلعة الشوبك، وهذا الطريق التاريخي مليء بالكهوف القديمة التي استخدمت كمقابر في القدم .
4: قلعة الشوبك - منطقة رأس الفيض ( مسار المطل)

يبدأ المسير من قرية صيحان القديمة، التي كانت مأهولة من قبل سكان الشوبك المحليين.
وحدها أنقاض البيوت الحجرية القديمة تقف شاهدة على وجود مجتمعات حية في صيحان. يقود هذا الممر إلى إطلالات أخاذة تعتبر عنصر التشويق في هذا الممر، مرورا بمنطقة الحزيم يصل الزائر إلى المنطقة العلوية من وادي الفيض حيث يقضي آخر ليلة في الشوبك قبل توجهه الى البتراء الصغيرة .
6: منطقة الفرن - منطقة قبور وحيدات (مسار الوحيدات)

بعد عدة ساعات من المسير السهل، يبدأ الزائر بالدخول إلى متنزه البتراء الأثري ماراً بمنطقة الفرش الواقعة غربي البتراء حيث يذهل الزائر بالمناطق المطلة على صحراء عربة وخصوصاً جبل قارون المطل على المنطقة الهابطة في قلب الصحراء. ينبهر الزائرعند رؤيته لألوان البتراء للوهلة الأولى.
المدينة المنحوتة وواجهاتها المزينة والمقابر الفريدة وكنوزها الأثرية تأخذ الزائر في رحلة عبر العالم القديم، ليقف الزائر صامتا
أمام هذا الحضارة متخيلا في نفسه قصة البتراء وماضي الأنباط العريق. تعتبر البتراء الصغيرة المركز التجاري والزراعي الأقرب والأهم لعاصمة الأنباط.

Uncover the remarkable history of Feynan through the many archaeological treasures that dot the surrounding landscape. Ride to Khirbet Feynan, a Roman (and later Byzantine) town destroyed by earthquakes where the remnants of early Byzantine churches still stand. From there, you can journey on to the Roman reservoir that supplied water to run a grinding mill. Portions of the mill are still clearly visible. Finally, follow tracks to a Neolithic village that dates back over 11,000 years and illustrates the shift from nomadic way of life to a settled life of permanent dwellings and agriculture.

تقوم في هذه الرحلة بجولة حول محمية الأزرق المائية حيث يمر الطريق بالمسطحات الطينية الواسعة لمنطقة القاع والصحراء
الشرقية. وتبدأ الجولة من نزل الأزرق مرورا بمحمية الأزرق المائية ومن ثم الوقوف على منطقة القاع والمتابعة إلى منطقة مزارع الأزرق المحلية والعودة إلى نزل الأزرق مجددا.

تعطي هذه الجولة الزوار لمحة عن تاريخ وثقافة منطقة الأزرق. حيث تبدأ من نُزل الأزرق مروراً بمحمية الأزرق المائية والأراضي الرطبة والسهول الطينية في القاع والمضبعة، وقرية الدروز القديمة، وقصر الشاعر، وقرية الأزرق الحديثة، وقلعة الأزرق وذلك قبل أن تنتهي الجولة في منزل أحد السكان المحليين لتناول الشاي وتناول وجبة خفيفة.

جولة الكنوز الأثرية

كشف التاريخ أثراً ملحوظاً لفينان من خلال العديد من الكنوز الأثرية التي تنتشر في المناظر الطبيعية المحيطة بها.
فيمكن للزائر مشاهدة هذه الكنوز جميعها بدراجته الهوائية، حيث يبدأ الممر من نزل فينان البيئي وصولا إلى خربة فينان وهي قرية رومانية (البيزنطية في وقت لاحق) دمرتها الزلازل حيث بقايا الكنائس من بدايات العصر البيزنطي لا تزال قائمة. ومن هناك يمكنك متابعة رحلتك إلى الخزان الروماني الذي كان يزود الطاحونة بالماء لتشغيلها حيث مازالت بعض الأجزاء من تلك الطاحونة واضحة للعيان. وأخيرًا، اتبع المسارات إلى قرية من العصر الحجري الحديث الذي يعود إلى أكثر من 11000 سنة، وسيتضح سببب التحول من حياة البدو الرحل إلى حياة الاستقرار في المساكن والمزارع الدائمة.

سيمكن الممر الزائر من استكشاف القرى المحلية مروراً بالكنوز الأثرية على طول الطريق، سيمر الزائر بمجتمعات بدوية في القرى التي تتبع مسير الجولة، حيث يمكنه التمايل داخل وخارج الطرقات الضيقة وتجربة شعور وحياة القرويين اليومية.
يفضل أن يرتدي الزائر ملابس محتشمة عند التعامل مع المجتمع وأن يسألهم قبل التقاط الصور. وبعد انتهاء الجولة، يعود الزائر للنزل بإحدى شاحنات البدو الصغيرة.

تمنكن هذه الجولة الزائر من التعرف على واحدة من أقدم مناجم النحاس في العالم، واكتشاف كيف كان يستخرج النحاس ويتم نقله وصهره. فتعود المناجم إلى آلاف السنين وقد قدمت النحاس للعديد من الحضارات على مدى آلاف السنين. فتمكنك هذه الزيارة من العودة إلى الماضي وستتمكن من رؤية المناجم العميقة حيث اضطر الرومان العبيد للعمل في أتعس الظروف.

Arqoub Romi
This Mountain trail begins from Dar Al-Basha neighborhood towards Mansoura.
The path begins easily at the beginning of Mount Arqoub Romi, passing through many plants, trees and animals, most notably (hawthorn, Greek tortoise), species of animals, Gecko and the rocky mullet associated with malul trees, which indicates the health of the ecosystem).
Though hike, you will pass by the viewpoint, which is 308 degree above sea level, where you take a rest and enjoy watching the Lake of Tiberias, Tur Mountains and Golan heights.
Then the hike will takes you down to 142 above sea level, towards an archaeological landmark – Arqoub Romi – up to Ain Nini. The path ends at Al – Arayis pool.

Al-Shreif Mountain trail
Al-Shreif Mountain trail starts from Umm Qays area towards the village of Al-Mukhaibah al-Tahta. The path begins easily through a semi-level mountain range with simple ramps and slopes, characterized by the presence of many plants, and trees (hawthorn trees, sweden trees, sycamores, Greek turtles), species of animals (Gecko gazelles and rocky mullet).
Through the hike, you can take a rest and enjoy some old caves, rock formations and wells.
Then the path will takes you down to 85 meters above sea level, towards the Muntumra Valley, which is the end of the mountain path with tea break on the firewood.

Muntamra Valley Trail
The trail starts near princess Basma Center at Al- Mansoura, the path then starts easily through the valley where you enjoy the beauty of the variety of plant patterns such as the oak pattern on the foothills of the valley and the pattern of carob trees along the valley, as well as the possibility of seeing some wildlife habitats.
The trail provides you with the opportunity to see ancient frescoes in some old caves dating back to different era. The valley also has ancient ruins for dwellings used by humans in different periods.
By the end of the valley, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Golan Heights, Lake Tiberias and the eternal Yarmouk River, then continue the path until it reaches Al – Mukhaiba village.

Al Hreith trail – Self Guided
The visitor stops at the beginning of the passageway with a unique view of the fallen oak forest on the one hand and on the cultivated pine forest on the other. During the walk, the visitor can see some annual plants such as hawthorn, Sweden, kandul, wild almond, and figs.
Then the trail will leads you to the viewpoint, which is 308 degree above sea level, where you take a rest and enjoy watching the Lake of Tiberias, Tur Mountains and Golan heights.
The corridor is one of the evidence of previous civilizations, which contains water channels used in the Roman era, sections of rocks and caves, some military trenches, and an artillery point used in the sixties of the nineteenth century.

مسارات المشيالممر الجبلي/ممر عرقوب رومي

الممر الجبلي هو ممر متعدد المناظر والتضاريس، متوسط إلى صعب ، يمتاز بالتنوع الحيوي. حيث يبدأ الممر من منطقة حي دار الباشا باتجاه المنصورة ،و يبدأ المسير بسهولة على سفح جبل عرقوب رومي، مروراً بالعديد من التضاريس الصخرية والتي تشكل 50% من مساحة محمية اليرموك الطبيعية. التي تتميز بوجود العديد من النباتات والأشجار والحيوانات أهمها ( شجر الزعرور، السلحفاة الإغريقية(، أنواع من الحيّات، وزغة كزتشاي Geckoوالدلق الصخري المرافق لشجر المالول والذي يدل على صحة النظام البيئي).
وخلال المسير وعند الوصول إلى نقطة المطل والتي ترتفع 308 فوق سطح البحر، يمكنك أخذ قسط من الراحة والاستمتاع بمشاهدة بحيرة طبريا/ جبل الطور / والجولان.
بعدها سيأخذك المسار في نزول وصولاً إلى 142 فوق سطح البحر ، باتجاه معلم أثري- عرقوب رومي- وصولاً إلى عين نيني. ثم الاتجاه صعوداً نحو -المؤسسة – حيث يمكنك مشاهدة العديد من المباني القديمة التي يصل عمرها حتى 50 عام. وينتهي الممر في بركة العرايس.
الممر الجبلي/منطقة الشريف:

ممر الشريف الجبلي هو ممر متعدد المناظر والتضاريس، سهل إلى متوسط ، يمتاز بالتنوع الحيوي. حيث يبدأ الممر من منطقة أم قيس باتجاه قرية المخيبة التحتا ،و يبدأ المسير بسهولة عبر سلسلة جبلية شبة مستوية ذات ارفاعات وانحدارات بسيطة تلائم جميع الفئات العمرية ، مروراً بالعديد من التضاريس الصخرية والتي تشكل 50% من مساحة محمية اليرموك الطبيعية. التي تتميز بوجود العديد من النباتات والأشجار والحيوانات أهمها ( شجر الزعرور،السويد,واشجار الملول والسوسنة, السلحفاة الإغريقية(، أنواع من الحيّات، وزغة كزتشاي Geckoوالدلق الصخري المرافق لشجر المالول والذي يدل على صحة النظام البيئي).
وخلال المسير وعند الوصول إلى نقطة المطل والتي ترتفع 352 فوق سطح البحر، يمكنك أخذ قسط من الراحة والاستمتاع بمشاهدة بعض الكهوف والتكوينات الصخرية وبئر قديم ويمكنك مشاهدة بحيرة طبريا/ جبل الطور / والجولان/ وصفد /واجزاء كبيرة من الضفة الغربية/مرتفعات جبل الشيخ البناني .
بعدها سيأخذك المسار في نزول وصولاً إلى 85 فوق سطح البحر ، باتجاه وادي المنطمرة وهي نهاية المسار الجبلي يمكنك اخذ استراحة شاي على الحطب لفترة قصيرة-ومن ثم متابعة المسير عبر وادي المنطمرة لمسافة 1كم باتجاه قرية المخيبة التحتا وصولاً الى 18 فوق سطح البحر .
ممر وادي المنطمرة:

الوصف:
يبدأ الممر بالقرب من المنصورة مركز الاميرة بسمة إنحداراً باتجاه عين المنطمره وبداية الممر منحدره متوسطة الصعوبة .
ثم يبدأ المسير بسهوله عبر الوادي حيث الينابيع طبيعيه (عين المنطمره) يتمتع الزائر للوادي بجمالية تنوع الأنماط النباتية كنمط البلوط "الملول" على سفوح الوادي ونمط أشجار الخروب على إمتداد الوادي إضافة إلى إمكانية مشاهدة بعض موائل الحيوانات البرية واّثار تلك الحيوانات .
يتيح الممر للزائر فرصة مشاهدة نقوش جدارية قديمة في بعض الكهوف الأثرية والتي تعود لحقب زمنية مختلفة .
كما يوجد في هذا الوادي أثار قديمة لمساكن إستخدمها الإنسان في عصور مختلفة إلى جانب المقالع الحجرية التي إستخدمها الإنسان كمورد لحجارة البناء .
في نهاية المسير في الوادي يترك الزائر الوادي حيث الإطلالة على هضبة الجولان وبحيرة طبريا ونهر اليرموك الخالد وبعدها يواصل المسير إلى أن يصل قرية المخيبة.
الممر التعليمي / ممر الحريث:

الوصف:
يبدأ الممر بإطلالة فريدة على غابة البلوط المتساقط الاوراق من جهة وعلى غابة الصنوبر الحلبي المزروع من جهة اخرى، وخلال المسير يتمكن الزائر من مشاهدة بعض النباتات الحولية والشجيرات مثل الزعرور والسويد والقندول واللوز البري والفيجن واللصف والكتيللة.
الى ان تصل الى رأس الحريث وتجلس مطولا لتتمتع بأروع صورة لجزء من حفرة الانهدام وهضبة الجولان وبحيرة طبريا.
ويعتبر الممر أحد الشواهد على الحضارات السابقة اذ يحتوي على قنوات لتجميع مياه الامطار استخدمت في العصر الروماني ومقاطع الصخور وكهوف وبعض الخنادق العسكرية ونقطة مدفعية استخدمت في في ستينات القرن التاسع عشر.
